divxplayer.org is an independent guide to DivX Player, the free video player for Windows and Mac published by DivX, LLC. We explain what the program does, how to use it and how to solve the playback, subtitle and conversion problems that bring most people here.
What we publish
- A plain-English overview of DivX Player and its features.
- Step-by-step guides for installing, subtitles, MKV playback, converting and playlists.
- Download buttons that link directly to the official DivX server.
What we are not
We are not DivX, LLC, and this is not the official product website. We do not host, modify or repackage the software. DivX is a trademark of DivX, LLC or its affiliates and is used here only to identify the product we write about.
How we keep things accurate
Our instructions are checked against the publisher's own documentation and updated when the program changes. If you spot something out of date, please tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
Official support
